Total time: 12 mins. Makes two, 16oz glasses.


2 green apples, peeled and cored

2 carrots, peeled

2 celery stalks

1 lemon peeled

1 bosc pears

1” ginger root

6 thumbs of turmeric root (1” diameter each)

1.5 cups water

1 cup ice



Process all ingredients in a juicer or blend in a Vitamix. If using a Vitamix, strain small batches of juice in a sieve, use a spoon to press down on juice ingredients to release more nutrients. Strain ¾ or all of the juice for a smoother consistency. If using a juicer, water can be reduced to make two, 16 oz glasses.  Juice can be made a day ahead.
